Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy applies to the FileFit PH mobile application by Mikael Tenshio.

FileFit PH processes selected files locally on your Android device and does not require an account for its core tools.

FileFit PH includes:

• Image compression for formats such as JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, and similar image files
• PDF compression using Android PDF rendering and local output generation
• Images-to-PDF creation with portrait or landscape page options
• ID photo, document, and signature crop tools
• Local save, batch-save, share-sheet, recent-result, and preference flows

FileFit PH is designed around offline file processing. It does not require account registration, a developer-operated cloud account, or uploading selected files to developer-managed servers for the core workflow.

2. Files You Choose

FileFit PH works with files that you actively select through Android document picker flows. The app may read selected file details so it can display and process them locally.

Selected-file information may include:

• File name
• File size
• MIME type or file extension
• Local content URI granted by the Android picker
• Image dimensions or PDF page information needed for processing and preview screens

The Android app does not request broad storage permissions. Access is handled through user-selected document picker permissions and local device output choices.

3. Local Processing and Output Files

Compression, cropping, image-to-PDF creation, and output preparation are performed on the device using local Android APIs and app cache files.

Generated files may be written to temporary app cache first, then saved to a location you choose or shared through Android platform sharing.

Temporary cache files, saved copies, and exported outputs may include compressed images, compressed PDFs, generated PDFs, cropped ID photos, cropped documents, or signature images.

Once you save or share an output file, that copy is controlled by your device, file manager, storage location, or chosen destination app.

4. Preferences and Recent Results

FileFit PH stores lightweight settings locally so the interface can remember your choices between sessions. Local preferences may include:

• Theme mode, such as system, light, or dark
• Default compression target
• Default content type and output format
• Recent-history duration preference

Recent-result screens and interface state are intended to help you review recent work inside the app. Clearing recent history in the app does not delete the original files from your device.

5. Permissions and Device Features

FileFit PH may use or declare the following Android capabilities:

• Android document picker access for files you choose to process
• Local app cache and app files for temporary processing output
• FileProvider support for sharing generated output files through Android-approved URI grants
• Android save and folder picker flows when you save one or more output files

FileFit PH does not require internet, camera, microphone, contacts, precise location, SMS, call-log, or broad storage permissions for its core file-processing features.

6. Sharing and Platform Services

If you choose to share a generated file, FileFit PH hands that file to the Android share sheet using a local FileProvider URI.

The app, service, or destination you choose for sharing may process the shared file under its own terms and privacy policy. FileFit PH cannot control what happens after you send a file to another app.

App stores, Android, device manufacturers, file managers, browsers, and operating-system services may also process routine technical information under their own policies.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Local preferences remain on your device until you change them, clear app storage, or uninstall the app.

Temporary cache files are app-managed and may be removed by the app or operating system. Saved output files remain wherever you chose to store them until you delete them from that location.

Because FileFit PH does not use a developer-operated account or backup service, files removed from your device may not be recoverable through the app.

8. Children's Privacy

FileFit PH is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a developer-managed account system for this app.
