Flipora Privacy Policy and Terms

Introduction

This Privacy Policy applies to the Flipora mobile application ("Application"), developed by Mikael Tenshio. The Application is provided "AS IS" and includes:

Animated Heads or Tails coin flips
Built-in classic and image-based coin styles
Optional sound effects and vibration feedback
Locally stored flip statistics and preferences

Flipora does not require an account, login, or registration. Flip statistics, custom labels, and preferences remain in local app storage. The app does not require access to your contacts, photos, or personal files for its core features.

Data Collection

Flipora does not require an account. The app uses Firebase Analytics, which may process limited technical and usage information to help improve app performance and user experience. Coin-flip results and custom labels are not intended to be included in Analytics events.

Analytics data may include

App usage events such as screen views and feature interactions
Device model, operating system version, and app version
General diagnostics and app performance information

Stored locally on your device

Heads, tails, and total flip counts
Selected theme, coin style, and artwork preferences
Sound, vibration, and animation speed settings

Flipora uses its own built-in coin artwork packaged with the app. It does not ask for access to your photos, media library, or personal files.

Local Data Retention

Preferences and statistics are stored locally on your device so the Application can remember your setup between sessions.

You may reset your statistics at any time from within the Application. You can also remove locally stored data by clearing the Application storage in your device settings or by uninstalling the Application.

Anonymous analytics data collected through Firebase Analytics is processed according to Google's data handling and retention policies.

Flipora uses the following third-party service:

This service may collect data as described in its own privacy policy to help monitor app usage trends and improve stability and features.

Permissions Used

Vibration - Used only when you enable haptic feedback for coin flips
Internet - Used for Firebase Analytics

Flipora uses built-in coin images bundled with the app and does not request access to photos, storage, media, contacts, messages, or personal files.

Children's Privacy

Flipora is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using the Flipora mobile application ("Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Application.

Use of the App

Flipora is provided as a coin flip and decision-making utility for personal, non-commercial use only. You agree not to misuse the Application or attempt to access it using methods other than the interface provided.

Results Disclaimer

Flipora is intended for casual decision-making, entertainment, and general-purpose random selection. Coin flip results should not be relied on for gambling, regulated, legal, financial, medical, or other high-stakes decisions.

Coin themes, built-in artwork choices, animation speed, sound effects, and vibration are experience features only and do not create any guarantee of suitability for a particular use.

Limitation of Liability

Flipora is provided on an as is and as available basis, without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer, as creator of the app, shall not be liable for coin-flip results, random outcomes, decisions made from app results, local history loss, device issues, or any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive losses or damages arising from or related to your use of, reliance on, or inability to use Flipora.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited, including rights that cannot be excluded under consumer protection, product liability, or other applicable laws.

Intellectual Property

The Application, including its design, logo, original code, and built-in visual assets, is the intellectual property of the developer. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or decompile the Application without explicit permission.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Application after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
