Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy applies to the Forma BMI mobile application, developed by Mikael Tenshio.

Forma BMI provides BMI calculation, result details, optional local history, settings, CSV export, and share actions. It does not require account creation, registration, login, subscription, a name, an email address, or profile information.

The current Android release does not include Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Google AdMob, advertising SDKs, the Android Advertising ID permission, a developer-operated backend, or Internet permission.

2. Data Collection

Forma BMI does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal information through developer-operated servers.

The app does not collect:

• Names, email addresses, account credentials, or profile details
• Advertising or analytics identifiers
• Device identifiers for tracking
• Location information, contacts, messages, photos, media files, camera, or microphone data
• Usage analytics or crash reports sent to the developer

Height, weight, age, sex selection, BMI values, and calculated healthy-weight ranges are processed on the device to provide the calculation requested by the user.

3. Data Stored Locally

Forma BMI may store the following information locally on your device:

• Saved BMI history records, including BMI value, category, weight, height, age, sex selection, and date
• Selected unit system
• Auto-save history preference
• Animation and haptic-feedback preferences
• Data needed to migrate settings or history from an earlier Forma BMI version

This information remains in private app storage on your device. Forma BMI does not upload BMI history or settings to a Forma BMI backend.

4. Android Backup

The current Android manifest disables app backup for Forma BMI. Locally saved Forma BMI preferences and history are not intentionally included in Android Auto Backup by the app.

Device manufacturers, app stores, operating systems, or tools you separately use to copy, back up, share, or export files may process information under their own policies.

5. Permissions Used

Forma BMI does not request Internet permission and does not request runtime access to location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, media files, messages, or the Android Advertising ID.

If you choose to share a result or export a CSV file, Android may show system-provided sharing or file-save interfaces. The app or destination you choose may process that exported or shared content under its own policy.

6. Third-Party Services

Forma BMI does not integrate third-party advertising, analytics, tracking, or external crash-reporting SDKs in the current Android release.

Google Play and Android services may distribute application updates, process app-store activity, or provide operating-system features under Google policies. Those platform services are separate from Forma BMI local app storage.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Saved BMI history and settings remain locally on your device until you delete them, clear Forma BMI application storage, or uninstall the app.

You can delete local Forma BMI data by:

• Clearing saved BMI history inside the app
• Clearing Forma BMI storage through Android Settings
• Uninstalling Forma BMI

Deleted local data may not be recoverable.

8. Children's Privacy

Forma BMI is not directed toward children under the age of 13. Forma BMI does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when Forma BMI features, permissions, or data practices change. The effective date shown on this page will be updated when material revisions are made.
