Loanora Privacy Policy and Terms

Introduction

This Privacy Policy applies to the Loanora mobile and web application, developed by Mikael Tenshio.

The app currently includes:

Loan amount, interest rate, and term inputs for fixed-rate loan estimates
Estimated monthly payment, total payment, total interest, and payoff date views
Detailed payment schedules showing principal, interest, and remaining balance
Comparison scenarios for lower-rate, faster-payoff, and lighter-payment options
Optional saved loan history stored locally on the device

Core loan calculations run locally in the app and do not require a user account or developer-operated backend service.

Data Stored Locally

Loanora saves selected loan scenarios in local app storage so you can reopen them later from the History screen. Depending on how you use the app, locally stored data may include:

Loan amount, interest rate, loan term, and preferred term unit
Generated timestamps for saved scenarios
An identifier used to distinguish one saved estimate from another
Temporary in-app state for the currently active estimate while you use the app

In the app, saved history is stored in browser-style local storage under the app's own data space. If you do not save a result, it is not added to the persistent local history list.

Analytics and Platform Data

Loanora does not use a custom developer-run server for account profiles, cloud sync, or backend storage of loan entries.

The Android app may use Firebase Analytics. Where Analytics is enabled, Google may process technical and usage-related information such as app events, device model, operating system version, app version, and diagnostic information under Google's own privacy terms.

App stores, browsers, and mobile operating systems may also handle routine technical data when you install, update, or run the app.

Permissions and Device Features

Internet - declared in the Android app and consistent with analytics-enabled builds
Local storage - used to keep saved loan history on your device

Loanora does not require camera, microphone, contacts, precise location, SMS, call log, or broad media-library permissions for its core features.

Data Retention and Deletion

Saved loan history stays on your device until you remove it. You can clear local history inside the app, clear the app's storage from your device settings, or uninstall the app.

If analytics or technical event data is processed by Firebase Analytics or platform providers, retention for that data is controlled by those providers under their own policies.

Calculation and Financial Disclaimer

Loanora provides estimate-based calculations using the values you enter and the formulas implemented in the app. The results are informational only and are not a substitute for lender disclosures, regulated financial advice, or a binding loan offer.

Differences in lender fees, compounding methods, payment timing, rounding, taxes, insurance, or other contractual terms may cause actual loan costs to differ from the app's estimates.

Children's Privacy

Loanora is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through developer-managed services for this app.

Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using Loanora, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the app.

Permitted Use

Loanora is provided as a loan estimation and comparison utility for lawful personal, educational, or internal planning use. You agree not to misuse the app, interfere with its operation, or use it for unlawful or misleading purposes.

Estimate Disclaimer

Loanora provides estimated results only. Monthly payments, payoff dates, total interest, schedules, and comparison scenarios are based on the information you enter and the app's calculation logic.

These outputs do not constitute financial advice, credit approval, a lending commitment, or a guarantee that any lender will offer matching terms.

Local Data Disclaimer

If you save loan scenarios, that history remains on the device until you clear it or remove the app. You are responsible for the security of your device and for any information you choose to enter into saved estimates.

Limitation of Liability

Loanora is provided on an as is and as available basis, without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer, as creator of the app, shall not be liable for loan-estimate inaccuracies, interest or payment calculation differences, financial decisions, lender disputes, saved-scenario loss, device issues, or any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive losses or damages arising from or related to your use of, reliance on, or inability to use Loanora.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited, including rights that cannot be excluded under consumer protection, product liability, or other applicable laws.

Intellectual Property

Loanora, including its branding, design, original code, and related materials, is the intellectual property of the developer unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or decompile the app except as allowed by applicable law or with explicit permission.

Changes to These Terms

These Terms and the accompanying Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of Loanora after updates are published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
