1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy applies to the Mazelume mobile game by Mikael Tenshio.
Mazelume is designed for offline, single-player puzzle gameplay without a required account.
Mazelume includes:
- Single-player neon maze puzzle gameplay built around Echo path reveals
- Handcrafted levels with shards, keys, gates, hazards, and portal exits
- Portrait and landscape support with customizable controls
- Local progress, mastery, trophies, and gameplay settings stored on the device
- No required login, no chat, and no developer-managed cloud account for core play
2. Progress and Settings Stored Locally
Mazelume stores game-related information locally on your device. Local data may include:
- Unlocked levels, world progression, and completed-stage state
- Shard collection, mastery progress, trophy or rank-style progress markers, and best results
- Control presets, custom control placement, vibration, sound, large-text, and reduced-FX preferences
- Pause, resume, and other comfort-related state used to support repeat play
Mazelume does not use a developer-run server to sync saves or host player profiles for its core offline experience.
3. No Account Required
Mazelume does not require account registration, sign-in, online chat, or user-generated content uploads for its core offline experience.
Because no account is required, Mazelume does not ask for profile information, usernames, passwords, or social data for gameplay access.
4. Data Collection and Sharing
Mazelume does not intentionally collect personal data through its core offline gameplay.
Mazelume does not intentionally share personal data with third parties for its core offline gameplay.
If Mazelume adds analytics, advertising, purchases, cloud saves, crash reporting, or online accounts, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe the resulting data practices.
5. Permissions and Device Features
Mazelume may rely on the following device capabilities:
- Local app storage for progress, settings, and control-layout preferences
- Audio output for game sound and feedback if enabled
- Vibration or haptic feedback if supported by the device and enabled in the game
Mazelume does not require contacts, camera, microphone, precise location, messages, or photo-library access for its core gameplay.
6. Third-Party Platforms
Even when Mazelume itself is designed as an offline-first game, app stores, device manufacturers, operating systems, and platform services may process technical information under their own privacy policies.
This legal page does not replace the privacy terms of Google Play, Android, your device maker, or other platform providers you use to install or run the game.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
Local game data remains on your device until you reset in-game progress where available, clear app storage, or uninstall the app.
Because Mazelume does not provide a developer-run account backup, progress removed from your device may not be recoverable.
8. Children's Privacy
Mazelume is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children through a developer-managed account system.
