Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy applies to the Namevo Android application developed by Mikael Tenshio.

Namevo helps you create and display styled name badges using an editor, previews, themes, fonts, colors, saved names, fullscreen display, settings, and local haptic preferences.

2. Information Stored Locally

Namevo stores badge and settings information locally on your device. This may include:

• Names, subtitles, saved badge entries, selected theme, selected font, text size, color, and style settings
• Fullscreen display preferences, haptic setting, onboarding or settings state, and clear-data choices
• Temporary draft badge information used while editing or previewing a badge

Names and subtitles are entered by you. Avoid entering private, sensitive, or confidential information unless you are comfortable keeping it in local app storage on your device.

3. No Remote Data Collection

Namevo does not request Android Internet permission and does not use a developer account system, analytics SDK, advertising SDK, crash-reporting SDK, tracking SDK, advertising ID permission, cloud database, cloud-sync service, or remote backup service.

The app is not designed to collect badge names, settings, usage analytics, device identifiers, or advertising identifiers for the developer.

Locally packaged font and icon assets used by the interface do not transmit data and do not create a network connection.

4. Permissions and Device Features

Namevo does not request runtime permissions for its core badge-making features. The app does not request Internet, camera, microphone, contacts, precise location, photos, videos, file storage, SMS, call log, calendar, or advertising ID permissions.

Fullscreen mode may temporarily request screen-on behavior, adjust the app display, and use local haptic feedback where supported by the device and user settings.

5. Backup, Retention, and Deletion

Namevo disables Android app backup for its local app data. Saved badges and settings remain on the device until you edit them, use clear-data controls, clear app storage, or uninstall the app.

Clearing app data or uninstalling Namevo may permanently remove locally saved names, subtitles, badge styles, and preferences. The developer cannot restore information that was stored only on your device.

6. Showing Names in Public

Namevo is designed to show names and short labels on your device screen. You are responsible for what you type, save, and display, especially in public spaces, events, classrooms, workplaces, or shared devices.

Anyone who can see your screen may be able to read the displayed name or subtitle. Use the app carefully when displaying personal information.

7. Children's Privacy

Namevo is a general name badge utility and is not directed to collecting information from children. The app does not require registration or remote submission of personal information.

If children or multiple people use the same device, the device owner is responsible for supervising the names, subtitles, and badge content entered or displayed in the app.

8. Changes and Contact

This Privacy Policy may be updated when Namevo changes features, permissions, data handling, or legal requirements. The latest version will be made available on this page.
