1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy applies to the Packora mobile application provided by Mikael Tenshio.
Packora is designed as a local-first checklist utility that does not require an account for its core features.
Packora includes:
- Ready-made templates for travel, beach, school, hospital, work-trip, and daily-essential checklists
- Custom checklists with editable items, optional notes, categories, and reordering
- Packed and unpacked item tracking with progress summaries
- Reusable list actions such as reset, duplicate, rename, archive, and update
- Offline local storage without required accounts, servers, or cloud sync for core use
Packora does not require a developer-operated account or cloud backend to store your packing lists. Core checklist data is kept locally on your device.
2. Checklist Data Stored Locally
Packora keeps core checklist data on your device. Local data may include:
- Checklist names, descriptions, template types, and categories
- Item names, packed status, optional quantity, optional notes, and sort order
- Progress state such as packed counts, remaining counts, and completion status
- Saved list metadata such as last updated date, archived state, or duplicated copies
- App settings such as theme preferences, delete confirmations, or display order options
Core checklist data is stored locally on your device rather than synced to a developer-managed account.
3. Templates and User-Entered Content
Packora may include built-in template items for common situations such as travel, school, beach trips, hospital bags, work trips, and daily essentials.
You may also create your own list names, notes, item entries, and categories. Any personal information you choose to type into a checklist is controlled by you and stored as part of your local app content.
If you enter sensitive information such as medical preparation notes, personal identifiers, or travel details, that information becomes part of the content you choose to keep in the app on your device.
4. Analytics and Third-Party Services
Packora may use Google Analytics for Firebase, depending on the installed version and configuration, to understand general feature usage and improve reliability.
Where Analytics is enabled, Google may process limited technical and usage information such as app opens, screen interactions, device model, operating-system version, app version, approximate region, and app-instance identifiers. Checklist titles, item names, notes, and quantities are not intended to be included in Analytics events.
Packora does not use a separate developer-managed service to upload checklist items, packing progress, or personal notes.
Google's privacy information is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
5. Permissions and Device Features
Packora may use or rely on:
- Local device storage for saved checklists, template copies, and app preferences
- Internet access for Google Analytics for Firebase where that service is enabled
Packora does not require camera, microphone, contacts, precise location, SMS, or call-log access for its core checklist features.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Locally stored checklist data remains on your device until you delete lists from inside the app where applicable, clear app storage, or uninstall the app.
Duplicated lists, archived lists, and custom items remain part of local app data until you remove them. Analytics data processed by third parties is subject to those providers' own retention practices.
7. Children's Privacy
Packora is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a developer-managed account system for this app.
