PickLuxe Privacy Policy and Terms

Introduction

This Privacy Policy applies to the PickLuxe mobile application ("Application"), developed by Mikael Tenshio. The Application is provided "AS IS" and includes:

Random name picking with a spinning wheel
Name input with comma, line, or mixed entry support
Winner history, duplicate filtering, and shuffle controls
Theme, sound, confetti, and spin duration settings

PickLuxe does not require an account, login, or registration. Names, list entries, winner history, and preferences are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to a developer-managed account or cloud database.

Data Collection

PickLuxe does not require an account. The app uses Firebase Analytics, which may process limited technical and usage information to help improve app performance and user experience. Names, list entries, and winner results are not intended to be included in Analytics events.

Analytics data may include

App usage events such as screen views and feature interactions
Device model, operating system version, and app version
General diagnostics and app performance information

Stored locally on your device

Names and participant lists you enter into the Application
Recent winner history and wheel session preferences
Theme, sound, confetti, duplicate filtering, and spin duration settings

Names you enter into PickLuxe stay on your device unless you choose to remove or reset them. They are not uploaded to our servers.

Local Data Retention

Entered names, winner history, and preferences are stored locally on your device so the Application can remember your setup between sessions.

You may clear your list, reset history, or remove winners at any time from within the Application. You can also remove locally stored data by clearing the Application storage in your device settings or by uninstalling the Application.

Anonymous analytics data collected through Firebase Analytics is processed according to Google's data handling and retention policies.

This service may collect data as described in its own privacy policy to help monitor app usage trends and improve stability and features.

Permissions Used

PickLuxe does not request any runtime device permissions. The Application does not ask for access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location, photos, storage, files, or notifications.

Anonymous analytics may use network connectivity in the background, but PickLuxe does not present permission prompts for device access.

Children's Privacy

PickLuxe is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using the PickLuxe mobile application ("Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Application.

Use of the App

PickLuxe is provided as a random name picker and decision-making utility for personal, classroom, event, team, and general non-commercial use only. You agree not to misuse the Application or attempt to access it using methods other than the interface provided.

Results Disclaimer

PickLuxe is intended for casual random selection, entertainment, giveaways, classroom participation, and general-purpose decisions. Results should not be relied on for gambling, regulated contests, legal, financial, medical, employment, admissions, or other high-stakes decisions.

Visual effects, wheel styling, history tracking, duplicate filtering, and winner removal controls are convenience features only and do not create a guarantee of suitability for any specific purpose.

Limitation of Liability

PickLuxe is provided on an as is and as available basis, without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer, as creator of the app, shall not be liable for picker results, winner-selection disputes, contest or raffle decisions, random outcomes, local history loss, device issues, or any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive losses or damages arising from or related to your use of, reliance on, or inability to use PickLuxe.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited, including rights that cannot be excluded under consumer protection, product liability, or other applicable laws.

Intellectual Property

The Application, including its design, logo, original code, wheel visuals, animations, and built-in assets, is the intellectual property of the developer. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or decompile the Application without explicit permission.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Application after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
