1. Local game data

Pocket Coil stores gameplay and preference information locally so the game can remember your progress and settings between sessions. Local data may include:

  • High scores, recent scores, games played, collected items, streaks, and top runs
  • Selected themes and theme-unlock progress
  • Sound, vibration, control, tutorial, and comfort preferences

This local data stays on your device unless you choose to share or submit information through an online feature. Local data can be removed by using an available reset option, clearing the app's storage in Android settings, or uninstalling the app.

2. Google Play Games Services

Pocket Coil uses Google Play Games Services for player authentication and the online high-score leaderboard. Depending on your device and Play Games settings, Google may sign you in automatically or ask you to select or create a Play Games profile.

When Play Games features are used, information processed may include:

  • Your Play Games player identifier and gamer identity, such as your gamertag/display name and avatar
  • Authentication and sign-in status needed to connect the game to Play Games Services
  • Leaderboard scores, ranking information, and related game-service data
  • Analytics and diagnostic information used by Google to operate and improve Play Games Services

Pocket Coil does not receive your Google Account password. Google processes Play Games information under its own privacy terms and account controls. You can manage supported Play Games profile and game data through your Google Account and Play Games settings.

3. Unity Engine Diagnostics

The current Unity release has Unity Engine Diagnostics enabled. Unity may receive technical information needed to monitor engine and app stability, including crash logs, diagnostics, other app-performance data, and device or other identifiers.

This diagnostic information is used for analytics related to stability, reliability, compatibility, and troubleshooting. The current release does not provide an in-game setting to disable Unity Engine Diagnostics. Pocket Coil does not use Unity Ads or Unity Purchasing, and the developer does not use Unity diagnostic information for advertising or marketing.

4. Internet access and offline play

Internet access is used for Google Play Games authentication, leaderboard score submission and retrieval, and related platform communication. Unity Engine Diagnostics may also transmit technical diagnostic information when connectivity is available.

Core gameplay, local scores, themes, and local preferences can be used without a developer-managed account. Online leaderboard features require connectivity and an eligible Google Play Games profile.

5. How transmitted data is used

Play Games identity and score information is used to authenticate the player and provide the online leaderboard. Unity diagnostic information is used to monitor app and engine health, diagnose crashes or performance problems, and improve stability. Google Play Games Services and Unity state that the service data described here is encrypted in transit.

Pocket Coil does not sell personal information and does not use this information for targeted advertising. The developer does not operate an advertising profile or a custom server that stores your Google Account password, contacts, precise location, photos, microphone recordings, or private messages.

6. Device features and permissions

Pocket Coil relies on the following device capabilities:

  • Local app storage for scores, settings, themes, and tutorial state
  • Internet access for Google Play Games Services and enabled diagnostic communication
  • Audio output for game sound
  • Vibration or haptic feedback when enabled and supported
  • The Android share sheet when you choose to share score text through another app

Pocket Coil does not require contacts, precise location, camera, microphone, messages, or photo-library access for its core gameplay.

7. Sharing

When you submit a leaderboard score, the relevant player and game-service information is transmitted to Google Play Games Services. If you use the Android share sheet, the app you choose may receive the score text you selected to share and will handle it under that app's own privacy policy.

Unity Engine Diagnostics may transmit technical diagnostic data to Unity as described above. Pocket Coil does not sell this data or share it with advertising networks for targeted advertising.

8. Retention and deletion

Local game data remains on your device until you reset it, clear app storage, or uninstall Pocket Coil. Removing local data does not automatically delete information already submitted to Google Play Games.

Google retains and lets you manage supported Play Games information according to your Google Account and Play Games controls. Diagnostic information processed by Unity is retained and handled according to Unity's applicable privacy and data-retention practices.

9. Children's privacy

Pocket Coil is not directed to children under 13 and does not provide a developer-managed account, chat, or user-generated-content upload system. Google Play Games and other platform services may apply their own age, supervision, profile, and account requirements.

10. Terms of use

Pocket Coil is provided for lawful personal entertainment. You may not manipulate scores, interfere with game or platform services, abuse leaderboards, bypass security controls, or use unauthorized automation or modified clients to obtain unfair rankings.

Online services may be unavailable, delayed, reset, suspended, or changed by Google, Unity, or the developer. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for lost local progress, unavailable online services, leaderboard changes, synchronization errors, account restrictions, device failure, or deleted local data. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Contact and changes

This policy may be updated when Pocket Coil's online services, SDKs, permissions, or data practices change. Questions may be sent to help.tenshioapps@gmail.com.
