1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy applies to the Receipty mobile application provided by Mikael Tenshio.
Receipty is designed as a local-first receipt organizer that does not require an account for its core features.
Receipty includes:
- Receipt photo capture or gallery selection
- Receipt details such as store name, date, amount, category, and optional notes
- Search, filters, list sorting, and monthly spending summaries
- Local image or PDF export for receipt reports and summaries
- Offline storage without required accounts or developer-managed cloud sync
Receipty does not require a developer-operated account or server to store your receipt records. Core receipt information and linked images are kept locally on your device.
2. Receipt Data Stored Locally
Local receipt data may include:
- Receipt photos or file references stored on your device
- Store name, purchase date, amount, category, notes, description, and created dates
- Custom categories, filters, sort preferences, default settings, and theme choices
- Monthly totals, category summaries, recent receipts, and export preferences generated from your local records
Core receipt data is stored locally on your device rather than synced to a developer-managed account.
3. Camera, Gallery, and Exported Files
Receipty lets you take a new receipt photo or choose an existing image from your device gallery before saving a record.
The app may also let you export receipt summaries as an image or PDF. Once you export or share a file, it is then handled by your device, browser, file manager, email app, or chosen destination service under their own controls and policies.
4. Notes, Categories, and Spending Summaries
Receipty may generate local monthly totals, category breakdowns, recent receipt views, highest purchase summaries, and average-spend calculations based on the receipt information you enter.
Optional notes or descriptions may contain purchase details, reimbursement notes, business-expense notes, or other personal text that you choose to save as part of your own records.
5. Analytics and Third-Party Services
Receipty may use Google Analytics for Firebase, depending on the installed version and configuration, to understand general feature usage and improve reliability.
Where Analytics is enabled, Google may process limited technical and usage information such as app opens, screen interactions, device model, operating-system version, app version, approximate region, and app-instance identifiers. Receipt images, merchant names, amounts, notes, and purchase details are not intended to be included in Analytics events.
Receipty does not use a separate developer-managed server or required cloud account to store receipt records.
Google's privacy information is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
6. Permissions and Device Features
Receipty may rely on the following device features:
- Camera or photo-library access for receipt images
- File or media access for existing images, exports, backups, or stored files
- Internet access for Google Analytics for Firebase where that service is enabled
Receipty does not require microphone, contacts, precise location, SMS, or call-log access for its core receipt-management features.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
Locally stored receipts remain on your device until you delete them, clear app storage, or uninstall the app. If the app includes delete flows, removing a receipt may also remove its locally stored receipt image from that installation.
Exported files and third-party analytics data are handled under the retention controls of the platform or provider that stores them.
8. Children's Privacy
Receipty is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a developer-managed account system for this app.
