Privacy Policy
Scoreora is a local-first Android score counter for players, casual matches, practice sessions, and group games. It stores scorekeeping information on your device and works without an account, advertising, analytics, cloud sync, or Internet permission.
event_notePrivacy Policy effective date: July 4, 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy applies to the Scoreora Android application developed by Mikael Tenshio.
Scoreora is designed for local scorekeeping. It helps you create players, run games, adjust scores, undo recent changes, finish matches, and review game history on the same device.
2. Information Stored Locally
Scoreora stores the information needed to provide its scorekeeping features in app-private storage on your device. This may include:
- Player names, player colors, player identifiers, games played, wins, and total points
- Active-game details such as selected players, target score, current scores, score actions, undo history, and timestamps
- Completed-game records, final scores, winner information, score history, and statistics
- Preferences such as theme mode, haptic feedback, score confirmation, and default target score
Because player names are entered by you, avoid entering private or sensitive information unless you are comfortable keeping that information on your device.
3. No Remote Data Collection
Scoreora does not require an account and does not send player names, scores, game history, statistics, preferences, or device identifiers to a developer-operated server.
The app does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, crash-reporting SDKs, cloud databases, or cloud-sync services for score records.
Scoreora does not request Android Internet permission for its core features.
4. Permissions and Device Features
Scoreora uses local app storage and standard Android interface features to display the app and save scorekeeping state.
The app does not request camera, microphone, contacts, precise location, photos, media, SMS, call log, calendar, or broad file-access permissions for its scorekeeping features.
Haptic feedback, when enabled, is handled by the device to provide touch confirmation. You can also control haptics through device-level settings where supported.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
Scoreora data remains on your device until you delete it in the app, reset app data, clear app storage, or uninstall the app.
Clearing storage or uninstalling Scoreora may permanently remove player profiles, active games, completed-game history, statistics, and settings.
The developer cannot restore information that was stored only on your device and later deleted, cleared, or lost through device failure.
6. Children and Shared Devices
Scoreora is a general scorekeeping utility and is not directed to collecting information from children. The app does not require registration or remote submission of personal information.
If children or multiple people use the same device, the device owner is responsible for supervising names, scores, and other information entered into the app.
7. Changes and Contact
This Privacy Policy may be updated when Scoreora changes features, data handling, permissions, or legal requirements. The latest version will be made available on this page.
