Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy applies to the SizeNook mobile application by Mikael Tenshio.

SizeNook does not require an account and stores its core profile, size, measurement, and shopping data locally on your device.

SizeNook is designed to help you keep size and shopping information organized, including:

• Family or personal size profiles with names, relationships, ages, profile photos, and favorites
• Clothing sizes, shoe sizes, body measurements, fit preferences, brand notes, and general notes
• Shopping-list items with linked profiles, preferred sizes, due dates, priority, photos, and purchased status
• Search, sort, filters, dark mode, local backup export, and local backup import

SizeNook does not use a developer-run account system, cloud sync service, or analytics service to process profile, size, or shopping data.

2. Profile and Size Data Stored Locally

SizeNook stores its main app data locally on your device. Local data may include:

• Profile names, relationship labels, age, gender, favorite status, profile color, and optional profile photo
• Saved clothing sizes such as tops, jackets, dresses, pants, shorts, skirts, activewear, and related notes
• Saved shoe sizes such as US, UK, EU, foot length, foot width, and shoe fit notes
• Body measurements such as height, weight, chest or bust, waist, hips, inseam, and custom measurements
• General notes, fit preferences, favorite brands, avoid or dislike notes, and shopping notes
• App settings such as dark mode, filter choices, and locally saved state

This information remains on the device unless you choose to export, share, back up, clear, or remove it through your device or the app.

3. Shopping Items and Photos

SizeNook lets you create shopping items connected to saved profiles and sizes. Shopping data may include:

• Item names, notes, linked profile, suggested size, due date, priority, and purchased status
• Optional item photos selected from your device or captured through a device-supported image picker
• Reminder-style lists for items that are pending, due soon, overdue, purchased, or not linked to a profile

Photos you choose may contain personal information, faces, clothing, locations, labels, receipts, or other details visible in the image. You control what photos and notes you add.

4. Backups, Imports, Exports, and Sharing

SizeNook includes local export and import tools so you can create JSON backups or CSV profile exports.

When you export or share a backup, profile summary, CSV file, JSON file, or shopping-related file, that exported content may leave the SizeNook app and be handled by your operating system, browser, file manager, share sheet, messaging app, cloud drive, email app, or any destination you choose.

If you import a backup file, the imported data may replace or add to local SizeNook data depending on the app flow available in your version.

5. Third-Party Services

SizeNook does not show a custom server, login provider, advertising SDK, or analytics SDK used to collect profile, size, measurement, photo, or shopping data.

The in-app privacy copy states that SizeNook stores profiles, sizes, and shopping notes locally on the device and does not send that data to an account or analytics service.

App stores, operating systems, browsers, WebView components, crash-reporting systems outside the app code, or devices may still process technical information under their own terms and privacy policies.

6. Permissions and Device Features

Depending on your device and app version, SizeNook may rely on:

• Local device storage for profiles, sizes, measurements, settings, shopping notes, and photos
• Device image or file picker access when you choose profile photos, shopping-item photos, or backup files
• Device sharing or download features when you export backups, CSV files, or profile summaries
• Internet permission as part of the packaged web-app runtime, platform behavior, or future store/runtime needs

The Android app does not indicate a core need for precise location, contacts, microphone, SMS, call-log, or background tracking access.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Locally stored SizeNook data remains on your device until you edit it, delete profiles or shopping items, use the clear-data option where available, clear app storage, reset your device, or uninstall the app.

Exported backup files, shared files, screenshots, downloaded files, or copied summaries remain wherever you choose to store or send them and must be managed from that destination.

8. Children's Privacy

SizeNook is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a developer-managed account system for this app.

Because users may create profiles for family members, you are responsible for choosing what information you enter and for getting any permission required before adding someone else's details or photo.
