Terms and Usage
UnitNexa is an offline-first unit converter designed to keep everyday conversions on your device. This page explains what UnitNexa may store locally, how result copying works, and how Google Analytics for Firebase is used as the app's only third-party analytics service.
Introduction

This Privacy Policy applies to the UnitNexa mobile application developed by Mikael Tenshio. UnitNexa is designed as an offline-first unit conversion tool for quick measurements, category browsing, favorites, and recent conversion review.

UnitNexa does not require account registration for core use. Conversions are performed on-device, and the app configuration shows Google Analytics for Firebase as the app's only third-party analytics service.

Information Stored Locally

UnitNexa may store limited app data on your device to support the user experience and keep the app convenient across sessions.

  • Onboarding completion state and basic interface preferences such as theme selection
  • Converter-related settings such as decimal display preferences and default choices
  • Local history, favorites, recent searches, or similar convenience data when those features are available in the app
  • Temporary interface state needed while you actively use the converter

UnitNexa is not designed to collect your contacts, camera input, microphone audio, precise location, or personal account profile for its normal conversion features.

Local Storage and Security

Core conversion activity in UnitNexa happens locally on your device instead of relying on a developer-managed conversion server.

This local-first design helps limit unnecessary data sharing, but data visible on an unlocked or shared device may still be accessible to other people who can use that device.

UnitNexa does not promise perfect security against every device-level threat, browser issue, or operating-system compromise.

Analytics and Internet Use

UnitNexa's converter is designed to work offline for core calculations. However, the project configuration includes Google Analytics for Firebase, which may send limited technical and usage events when internet access is available.

Analytics-related technical data may include:

  • App opens, screen views, and general interaction events
  • Approximate device and app environment details made available through Google's analytics tooling
  • General engagement patterns used to understand which features are being used

UnitNexa is not configured here with additional third-party analytics providers beyond Google Analytics for Firebase.

Clipboard and Device Features

UnitNexa may use device features that are directly related to visible app behavior.

  • Clipboard access when you choose to copy a conversion result
  • Local storage for settings, onboarding state, favorites, or history-related convenience features
  • Standard app rendering and navigation features required for the converter interface

If you copy a value, your operating system clipboard may retain that copied result until it is replaced or cleared outside the app.

Third-Party Services

The third-party analytics service used into UnitNexa is Google Analytics for Firebase.

If you install or update UnitNexa through an app store or use it inside a browser environment, those platforms may also process technical or operational data under their own policies.

Data Retention and Deletion

Local UnitNexa data generally remains on the device until you remove it.

  • You can clear app-managed data through available in-app options where provided
  • You can clear app storage from your device settings
  • You can uninstall the app to remove locally stored app data from that installation

Analytics data handled by Google Analytics for Firebase is subject to Google's own retention and processing policies.
