1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy applies to the UploadFit mobile application provided by Mikael Tenshio.
UploadFit is designed as an offline upload-preparation utility. Its core workflow checks and processes selected files locally on your device without requiring an account.
UploadFit includes tools for:
- Checking images, PDFs, and documents against built-in or custom upload requirement profiles
- Inspecting file size, format, filename, dimensions, page counts, readability, and supported metadata signals
- Applying supported local fixes such as crop, resize, rotate, compression, format conversion, rename, metadata removal, PDF optimization, and PDF creation from images
- Saving local history, settings, filename rules, custom profiles, and exported output copies
2. Selected Files and Processing Data
UploadFit processes only the files you choose through Android file and document picker flows. Local data may include:
- File names, MIME types, sizes, image dimensions, PDF page counts, validation results, and issue summaries
- Selected requirement profiles, custom profile rules, processing settings, filename templates, and export preferences
- Local history records, output metadata, cache files, and generated upload-ready copies
Original source files are intended to remain untouched. Supported processing creates new local output files for you to save, open, share, or recheck.
3. Permissions Used
UploadFit requests access only when needed for visible app features. Depending on your device and Android version, this may include:
- Android system picker or Storage Access Framework access for files you choose
- Read access to selected files so UploadFit can inspect and process them
- FileProvider or platform sharing access when you choose to open, save, or share an output file
The UploadFit reference app is designed without an internet permission for its local-first file checking and processing workflow.
4. Profiles, History, and Settings
UploadFit can store built-in profile selections, custom requirement profiles, validation history, appearance settings, privacy settings, storage preferences, and filename rules locally on your device.
Custom profile import and export uses local JSON files that you choose. Review any profile files before importing or sharing them, especially if they contain organization-specific naming or upload rules.
5. Exports and Deletion
When you save, open, or share a generated output, the selected destination app, folder, or Android service may receive access to that output file.
You can delete app-managed history, cache, and settings through UploadFit or Android system settings. Files saved outside app-managed storage must be managed from the location where you saved them.
This Privacy Policy explains how UploadFit handles information.
