Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy applies to the Warrinova mobile application provided by Mikael Tenshio.

Warrinova is designed as a local-first warranty organizer that does not require an account for its core features.

Warrinova supports:

• Warranty records with purchase dates, expiry dates, store details, prices, and notes
• Receipt photos, warranty card images, product photos, and other supporting attachments
• Warranty status tracking, expiring-soon views, reminders, repair logs, and claim helper notes
• Search, filters, backup or export flows, and private local storage for important purchase records

Warrinova does not require a developer-operated account or cloud database to store your warranty records. Core records and attachments are kept locally on your device.

2. Warranty Records Stored Locally

Local warranty data may include:

• Product name, brand, model number, serial number, and category
• Store name, purchase date, warranty duration, expiry date, price, currency, and notes
• Status labels such as active, expiring soon, expired, or no expiry set
• Claim-helper details, repair history, reminder settings, and attachment references
• Security or convenience preferences such as PIN-lock settings, biometric preferences, theme, and filters if implemented

Because receipts and warranty documents may contain personal or purchase-related information, Warrinova keeps core records and attachments in local device storage.

3. Attachments and Documents

Warrinova may let you attach proof documents such as receipt photos, warranty card images, product photos, and PDF invoices where supported.

These files may contain personal information such as names, addresses, order numbers, contact details, store information, or item serial numbers. They remain stored locally on your device unless you choose to export, back up, or share them.

4. Reminders and Notifications

Warrinova may provide local warranty-expiry reminders such as 30-day, 14-day, 7-day, 1-day, or same-day notifications.

Notification scheduling and delivery depend on your device settings, operating system, battery rules, and notification permissions.

5. Analytics and Third-Party Services

Warrinova may use Google Analytics for Firebase, depending on the installed version and configuration, to understand general feature usage and improve reliability.

Where Analytics is enabled, Google may process limited technical and usage information such as app opens, screen interactions, device model, operating-system version, app version, approximate region, and app-instance identifiers. Warranty records, receipt images, serial numbers, notes, and attachments are not intended to be included in Analytics events.

Warrinova does not use a separate developer-managed cloud vault to store warranties, attachments, or purchase documents.

6. Permissions and Device Features

Warrinova may rely on the following device features:

• Camera or photo-library access for receipt images, product photos, or warranty card images
• File or media access for existing images, PDF invoices, backups, exports, or restores
• Notification permission for local warranty-expiry reminders where supported
• Internet access for Google Analytics for Firebase where that service is enabled

Warrinova does not require microphone, contacts, precise location, SMS, or call-log access for its core warranty-management features.

7. Backup, Export, and Data Retention

Locally stored warranty records remain on your device until you delete them, clear app storage, restore over them with a backup, or uninstall the app.

If you export or back up warranty data, the resulting files are then handled by your device, file manager, storage provider, or chosen destination under their own controls.

Analytics data processed by Google is retained according to the configured Analytics retention settings and Google's applicable policies.

8. Children's Privacy

Warrinova is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a developer-managed account system for this app.
